UNIVERSITY OF OREGON

UNDERGRADUATE CLASSES

The School of Journalism and Communications at the University of Oregon is ranked in the top 15 advertising programs in the nation and is considered one of the leading programs in the Pacific Northwest.

My time in the SOJC was invaluable as I had the opportunity to work with several real-world clients to gain working experience in an approachable and collaborative environment. This not only contributed to my growth as a creative and team player but solidified my decision to pursue a career as a creative.

I also earned two minors while at UO, which served as excellent supplemental areas of study. My minor in Multimedia Design helped me hone my design skills while exposing me to other forms of media like coding, stop motion animation, and sound editing. My minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies expanded my understanding of intersectionality and the importance of equality and equity. I studied the experience of women, gender differences and societal expectations, the history of gender and queer theory, race, disability, and more. This clarified my perspective on not only how to communicate with a broader audience but also provide more people with accurate representation in my work.

This page features the work I completed during my time at UO, which truly shaped my creative lens and artistic perspective.
